With my experience, I can say that being part of a college society is actually worth it. You get to build real connections — bonding with seniors, helping juniors, and becoming part of a small community within the college. If you're genuinely interested, willing to work hard, and involved in the society culture, you eventually earn the position you deserve by your final year. And even if titles don’t work out the way you hoped, the experiences, friendships, and memories you make stay with you .
